APOLLO PATCHES
In 1969, NASA sent American astronauts to the moon to search for glass beads as evidence that the Sun indeed experiences recurrent novae. Not only did they find these glass beads, but the entire lunar surface was covered with them. These glass beads were also pockmarked with fission trails, confirming that they were indeed created by the Sun. Additionally, isotopes of Aluminum-26, Beryllium-10, Iron-60, Magnesium-26, Oxygen-16, Oxygen-18, and Thorium-230 were discovered, proving that the Sun was the source, as the half-life of these elements was too short for them to have been created on another star.
Below are mission patches that are quite revealing; they use an image of the Sun and the horsemen of the Apocalypse. One must ask why these particular images were chosen for moon missions.
